Nose2tail wins the monopoly on sustainability: The restaurant cooks with only organic meat and uses everything from the nose to the tail of the animal. Don’t be grossed out by the idea of eating a tail, as soon as your waiter places your beautifully presented, deliciously smelling order in front of you, you will forget what it is and be psyched to take a bite.
Nose2tail has two restaurant locations, one is a food bodega, and the other is their meat and seafood restaurant. Unfortunately, this summer (2016) Nose2Tail Meat and Seafood is closed from the 28th of June until the 23rd of July, but don’t you forget about it because it is truly a meal worth waiting for.
However, for those of you who are in the mood for meat TODAY, Nose2Tail Madbodega (food bodega) is a wonderful choice. The bodega is located close to the meatpacking district which is a very popular place to dine. The bodega’s design is a mix between rustic and modern, with wooden tables, steel columns and glass chandeliers.
The food is served in thick wooden serving plates yet presented in a very delicate manner. Their menu is simple, meat of the day, fish of the day, or the meal of the day, but the flavors and anything but simple. Every bite is mouthwatering and fresh and often accompanied by a homemade sauce, and seasonal vegetables.
But the experience does not stop there. Nose2Tail also prides themselves in offering a drinks menu of excellent quality, with all the classic cocktails, and good quality wines and beers.
Truth be told, this is the perfect boys-night-out place, especially if they are meat lovers.
